ICSC ReCon Conference and Tradeshow

Director of Economic Development, Tom Terrall, and Economic Development Specialist, Cindi Lane along with two council members will attend the ReCon to meet with retailers and developers to introduce them to opportunities in The Colony.
Developments in The Colony being promoted at the convention are:
- Cascades at The Colony – This project is a multi-use development and will incorporate 200,000 square feet of office, 200,000 square feet of flex, two hotels, 100,000 square feet of retail, and roughly 300 residential units, located at S.H. 121 and Morning Star.
- DBSI Development – Promoting a 30-acre +/- site and a 15-acre +/- site that can accommodate retailers and pad users. Large parcels may be sold for end-users, such as entertainment facilities, hotels, etc, located on S.H. 121 east of Blair Oaks and west of Paige Rd.
- The Weitzman Group – a +/-31-acre site adjacent to Home Depot at the NEC of S.H. 121 and Paige Rd. This site has over 1,250 feet of highway frontage planned for big box users. Pad site opportunities, restaurants welcome.
- Colonnade Plaza – a 20,000 square foot newly constructed retail strip ready for occupancy located on S.H. 121 and Blair Oaks, behind Chase Bank.
- Austin Square, located south of S.H. 121 in Austin Ranch at the SWC of Windhaven Parkway and Saintsbury Drive, is newly completed and leasing more than 22,000 square feet of retail in the heart of the Austin Ranch multi-family location.
- Oaks Village Center, 32,200 square foot shopping center on 2 acres on NW corner of Main and Memorial (Approximately 2/10 of a mile north of S.H. 121).
